3rd Underwriting & Reinsurance Training Program Was Successfully Held!

The Underwriting & Reinsurance Training, sponsored by Türk Reasürans and organized by IUC Group, was successfully completed between May 5–8, 2025, bringing together professionals from the insurance and reinsurance sectors for a rich program of technical learning and networking.
The first three days of the training took place at Wyndham Grand Kalamış Marina Hotel, where participants engaged in intensive sessions led by internationally recognized industry experts. Key topics covered during the training included:
Freight Forwarder Liability (FFL) and CMR Convention — Emma Rice, Clyde & Co
Marine Casualties & Cargo Claims — Jai Scharma, Clyde & Co
Engineering Insurance & Reinsurance — Michael Kraus, SCOR
Product Liability & Business Interruption — Carlo Tozzi Spadoni, Charles Taylor
Each session was designed to provide participants with in-depth knowledge and practical insight into underwriting principles, risk assessment, and claim management across various insurance lines.
A Cultural Finale to Remember
On the fourth and final day, attendees had the chance to explore Istanbul's rich cultural heritage. The group visited the Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia, and the Historic Peninsula, accompanied by a professional guide. The day concluded with a scenic Bosphorus cruise, during which the Certificate of Attendance Ceremony took place on board, offering a memorable close to an inspiring program.
