IIF 2016 – Property Insurance in the Digital Era

Held on April 17–19, 2016, at Pera Palace Hotel in Istanbul, IIF 2016 – Property Insurance in the Digital Era brought together industry leaders to address the increasing urgency of climate-related and natural catastrophe risks. Organized with the special support of IUC, the forum highlighted the shifting nature of global risks, as noted in the WEF Global Risks Report 2016, where climate change adaptation failure ranked among the most impactful threats.

The event emphasized the critical role of property insurance in enhancing urban resilience, leveraging digital tools, and ensuring effective risk mitigation and recovery financing in the face of growing environmental challenges.
